Amanda provides psychotherapy services for children aged 12 and up, as well as adolescents and adults who are seeking to make positive changes in their life. She specializes in working with individuals who are facing the challenges of overcoming traumatic and/or overwhelming experiences, addictions recovery, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Many of these types of challenges bring with them additional issues such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia that are important to address as well.
TAILOR MADE WELLNESS CLINIC
She has her Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology with a concentration in Equine-Assisted Mental Health. She is registered as a Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, is a member in good standing of the Psychologists Association of Alberta, and has completed certified E.M.D.R training for her work as a trauma therapist.
In addition to working within the Tailor Made Wellness Centre, Amanda has a private practice on the north east side of Edmonton - see www.equinoxtherapeutic.com for more details. Amanda is also the co-founder and Clinical Director of Arivaca Nature School (ANS), located in Arivaca, Arizona. ANS is a residential treatment centre that utilizes animal and nature-assisted therapeutic programming to support adults with developmental disabilities.
