Lyndsey is a newly Registered Acupuncturist with the College and Association of Acupuncturists Alberta (CAAA), who recently graduated from MacEwan University's Acupuncture program with distinction.

Lyndsey grew up in Sherwood Park, and has enjoyed playing/coaching competitive sports throughout her life.  She continues to lead an active lifestyle through her passion for fitness and nutrition.

Lyndsey takes a unique approach to her practice by equating the concept of meridians in traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to the nerve pathways of the human body.  Viewing the nervous system as the origin of all human functions, Lyndsey uses TCM theory and acupuncture points to stimulate the nervous system and guide the body back to health, When dealing with patients, Lyndsey likes to take a setp back to look at the big picture, as she considers disease to be a self-perpetuating cycle of cause and effect.  By paying close attention to the nature of the patient and not just the nature of the problem, Lyndsey customizes her treatment plans to each patient, as no two individuals are alike.

In addition to needling, Lyndsey is also trained in electro-acupuncture, laser acupuncture, cupping, blood-letting, gua-sha, tuina and moxibustion therapy. Her goal is to offer individualized and thorough care, treating a wide range of conditions such as musculoskeletal, neurological, psychological, hormonal or digestive disorders just to name a few.
